Valentine’s Day 2009 started out poorly for Charlotte and Adam, but marked the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Charlotte reluctantly wound up at Benny the Bum’s in the tow of her parents and their friends. Adam had been called to bartend that night, even though he originally had the night off. Good fortune led these two to lock eyes; by the end of the night, Adam had declared Charlotte his Valentine and Charlotte knew she had met the man she would eventually marry. When the time came to propose, Adam convinced Charlotte that he would wait until after the holiday season in 2010; however, he could not wait to share his love. After helping out with chores around the house, Adam directed her attention to the ring box on the table. With Charlotte bursting into tears of joy, Adam dropped to one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. When it came time to plan their wedding, Charlotte proclaimed that “the blinger, the better.” Additionally, according to her, “everyone who is anyone knows the kind of weddings that go down with the Cescaphe Event Group.” The couple had their engagement party at Tendenza, and believe that the reception will be even better. Finally, Charlotte and Adam will head to Napa for a few lazy days of sun and wine right after the wedding. In June, they plan on taking a true honeymoon to the motherland: two weeks in Italy.

Jill and Ryan started dating in high school, broke up for a little bit, and have been together again since college. For them, nothing beats a summer cookout with good friends, food, and drinks; they cherish a relaxed environment. Ryan popped the question while on a family beach vacation celebrating the 35th wedding anniversary of Jill’s parents. On a long walk down the beach, Ryan romantically proposed. The two had previously attended a Cescaphe wedding, and they knew that the food and drink would be perfect for their event. Picking Tendenza was also a no-brainer: the modern and chic architecture of the venue allowed Jill to keep it simple and elegant. After the wedding, Jill and Ryan took their honeymoon in the Canary Islands.

Kristin and Sean operate on the principle of 3 L’s: Live, Love, and Laugh. They have known one another since a barbeque in high school. Together, they like to go to Starbucks, drink wine, order Chinese, or spend some time with family. Sean’s proposal came during a visit to the lovely Washington Square Park. Kristin and Sean picked the Cescaphe Ballroom for their wedding based on word-of-mouth recommendations. After the festivities, they are jetting off to Italy and Greece for their honeymoon. Congratulations!
